So, before last week then.

 

Anyway, back to the present. Just started started, big drops of falling water but not much of it and now it's ceased. If today is like yesterday, there'll be high cloud and more sunshine than you could carry in a very large bag. And late evening, there'll be a light shower. Even if one ran around catching every drop, it probably wouldn't fill a shirt pocket.

 

Apart from the absence of large depressions in the landscape, to keep the lack of rain. I'm not surprised they don't have reservoirs in this part of the world. Good for those owning a parasol - not much good for those owning an umbrella.

 

I can see the advert now.

46yr. old umbrella, excellent condition, as has never been needed for primary use. Price when new £1 3s 4d. Free for local collection, as instruction may be needed.

 

HI TGB you need more then a umbrella mate in somerset it been raining hard here for the last 1hr mate think is in somerset you just do not no when the rain going to stop ask eggs he will tell you :thumbup1:thanks jon :thumbup:

yes :lol: - Perhaps the long range weather forecast baton has been passed on, the BBC said they were giving up on it from their appalling record over the last 3 yrs
