Whats the weather like near you?

For a short while, it poured during the night but now it's dry again, though cloudy a feels chilly. I dare say it's not actual a chill, just the glowering sky and light wind that makes it so by comparison to weather of late.

...I remember a bloke only a few yards from me having his chimney struck and all his electrical sockets blown out.. !

He had/has a chimney but no earthing conductor... puzzled I am.

Mind in these times. If you fitted one, the scum would be round to tear it off your house before the kettle boiled.

I think it was the tv antenna that it struck . Any way most of the stack was missing . He had problems with the insurance claim I remember . The buildings insurance covered the stack but for some reason he had to make a second claim on the contents policy for the electrics.

Hope is all we got Jon . The weather girl just said it could be 30 degrees here and 32 degrees in the inner city . PHEW .

HI STUBBY if working in that heat it a :lol:hard work i went up to do the fence post at 8pm last night to 9.30 got with what had to ok but this 30/32c no good ok at the seaside thanks mate jon :thumbup:

I got funeral today Jon so not working bud .
