Cubas all a changing they are starting to allow

Properties to be sold rather than being passed down.

It is now or will be soon a land of oppurtunity.

My mate has only just got Mexican citizenship and has

Owned properties and a vast amount of jungle nr Tulum for yrs where

He has built a magnificent house so there is always

A way around these things....we sailed in 16 yrs ago and he stayed.

And I gained two god children :-)

But don't worry I haven't got 100k spare just yet !

what did you study at uni?

My degree was Business studies based with an orientation to the adventure industry - i was training as a mountaineer with a view to guiding, hopefully running a centre etc when i was aged just 21.

But realised that I wasn't enjoying making my hobby into my career, it took the fun away.

Seven years on at 28 i'm finding my career in Arb has also become my hobby - funny how that works!!

Studying Finance, Economics, Marketing, Law, Management, and learning to compile half decent written essays and actually how to present with the spoken word all helped me enormously with setting up my business in 2008..... the adventurous side of me and my love of nature helped with the trees!!

IF I had 100k SPARE, or given or whatever, I would probably look to build and invest into a new business in an entirely separate and unrelated industry, or even two new businesses rather than having all eggs in one basket.

Failing that, I'd invest in carbon credits at pre IPO or use the 100k as venture capital.

okay so i've thought about it a bit..... id open up will ayers tree school, teach people to work in trees and run a recreational climbing course as well. i think 100k would more than cover all the gear and insurances etc. i have some land i can use already, with some lovely trees on it and a large section that can be felled at a slow pace.

i love teaching, id still probably do the odd bit of climbing for people or else i'd miss it!
