Insurance is bloody cheap! I think mine was £314 public liability and tool cover?

I agree, had a quote today for 450 quid for PL & EL.... 5m & 10m I think.

What amazes me about this clip is that they actually have the balls to make out they know what they're doing! Incredible!

My point about insurance is that everyone pays more because of Clowns pretending to be Tree surgeons and the like. We have the same here and many WEW'S as well.

I don’t follow your thinking here.

The clowns in the rough traders show are unlikely to have any insurance for tree work and as such have no influence on the insurance market.

The UK had a blip in the insurance market a while ago but it was due to insurers underselling policies to anyone at all, they caught a cold, the market stabilised, job done.

treequip, The Libility insurance for the Tree Industry is State owned or Private firms underwriting policies?. If the Insurance available is State owned and run than that is a different matter if the Insurance is owned and run by private companies those private companies have to pay out a lot of claims for accidents, which the stock holders really don't like!. At least that is the way it works over here in the States.
