Can you elaborate please mate? My old man is currently involved in a battle against wind farm developers in Northumberland.

theres 2 at ardrossan SB.....1 with 8 or so thats quite near town and another on the road from Ardrossan to Kilwinning with about 10 or so. I think that fire was at the later. 1 turbine pulled out of ground at the site nearest the town a while back

U seem to know a bit about this, why can't they make a turbine where the blades twist so when it's too windy they can twist the blades and it'll turn slower? There must be a reason why not though. I'm sure they do it in variable vane turbo's
