Seen the last programme of this and must admit it really got me.

Gareth Malone was simply outstanding with the woman and their performance was remarkable. It was inspirational and agree this DESERVES to be no.1

My wife spent 8 years watching me disappear off to the Gulf. I got on with the job, and she did too, but always with the fear that something may happen to me.

Even harder for the soldiers wives, who live in dread of the next announcement on the news.
