Ok, back here.

 

I ended up with a very high end GenMac 7900; beautiful bit of kit but gasoline and far from silent! Single and 3-phase.

 

Very low hours; circa 40 on it from memory and spotless (so now up for sale).

 

Ultra quiet diesel???

There aren't any super silent generators until you

Get to about 10kva even then it has to be a himoinsa widnt even bother with anything else. Pramac are cheap and nasty and very noisy

Stephill have been good to deal with in my limited experience, not sure if their 1500 rpm models are quiet enough for what you need but I like the kubota watercooled diesels they use. All the best.
