parking ticket in the works van ???

hi there, just recieved a parking ticket tonight. as i parked on some hard standing in a for double cab tipper van at the metro centre as i needed to bit of xmas shopping... i couldnt fit in any of there tight spaces ( didnt want to take up 2 spaces so i would obstructed anyonther customers) so i decided to park well out of the way of the main entrance. however i have recieved a parking ticket

 

anyone had any expierences like this or can anyone give me advice on how i can apeal

Just pay up and move on. You will NOT beat this. Sorry but the powers that be in the world of parking tickets live for it...I speak from multiple experience.

Who is the ticket from??

 

If its the council, pay up.

 

If its from a private Co, bin the ticket and forget it.

Were you parked illegally?

Sounds like you were, the only thing you can do is send them a letter explaining why you parked why and how you did.

 

Was it a pay and display carpark? Did you buy a ticket?

no wasnt a pay and display. just send an appeal off. its discrimantion against van drivers .

You should have parked in two spaces and paid for two tickets.

 

If you were that fat you needed two seats on a plane would you only expect to pay for one?

 

It is discriminatory, but life isn't always fair.

ive had a few and just ignore them, you will get a few letters chasing you up but they will just give up after a bit as they cant enforce it.

 

Private Parking Tickets: Tickets are often invalid, don't pay....
