My this brings back alot of memories. I can remember the genuine needle surrounding this fight and mclellan being portrayed as a real ' bad boy '.

Benn always seemed to be out of a fight but had that vicious one punch equaliser.

I felt sorry Mclellan until I heard about him taping his Labradors mouth shut and letting his pitbull attack and kill it. If this is true of course!

If it is true, he deserves what he got.

Yeah have to say this was a very good programme, and certainly did bring back alot of memorys. As was and still am brought up in a boxing hosehold, as my father was a profesional boxer and he was actually on the undercard of this fight.

 

I feel tho that threw listening to everyone on the programme, that a lot of people found it easy to blame someone else and that alot of people were abit and still are bitter. (My own opion ofcourse)

Great fight.

 

I never liked Benn as a person much, but I always respected his cojones.

 

To get in the ring with the G-Man back then took some guts, he was a nasty, dangerous guy.

 

Tragic ending, and as said, the blame game continues.
