1 proplem sorted 201t

had a new 201 and the top rope said it was a bit under power and so it was had a good look as you do before twiddling things and found underneath are 2 chain alinment plastic rubs and they dint half hold the chain back being tight

out comes the trusty knife cuts some bits of and away we go a bit more power.

Great if that's one thing fixed, well sort of but stihl shouldn't send them out like that in the first place

 

Anyway, isn't that the first to check with a saw, I always run a hand over the top of the chain to make sure its tensioned up ok. I would have thought this would show up quite easily?

Indeed.

 

In fact I think Bob told me he noticed straight out the box and trimmed accordingly.
