scots pine stumps removed

I’m sure the foresters here have heard of the heath land regeneration scheme which involves removing all the brash, timber and stumps from site. I’ve got no issues with moving the timber and brash but my problems arise when I have to remove the stumps. I could hire in a 12 ton 360 excavator with a grab to remove them. But, what can be done with them now as we can’t have any fire .So, I’m at a bit of a stumbling block for the moment as what to do with them. Any advice or potential contacts would be very gratefully received.

 

It’s a 5 acre site and consists of 40 year old Scots Pine.

The guys in our area use nothing smaller than a 25tonne excavator to remove pine stumps of that age and that struggles at times. If possible they use the 35 tonner to make sure they are master of the job. How about an air burner, almost smoke free disposal on site.
