Farthest North Arbtalker?

A thread the other day about trees growing in the far north got me wondering who stands above us all on the map and how they eek out a living?

i'm 3 miles north of huntly but i guess scbk and gibby marr are both slightly north of me (inverness and elgin).

 

someone told me that only 35,000 people live north of inverness i.e. only 5 people per sq km.

i drove to inverness last week (work-related!)

lots of beautiful scenery, & lots of fog!!! apoligies for a de-rail but have any of you guys spent any time at the ski resorts up that way?

Yeah the farthest north i had seen on the avatars seemed to be Inverness .

Alot of people dont put their location in ( perfectly entitled ) but thought there must be people albeit not many further up than that surely. Would be interesting to find out how the arb work fares in quite bleak places.
