Hi

What do people think of second hand chainsaw type C trousers?

Am debating whether to get some stretch airs that may be a bit small (am a 32 / 33 waist and they are size small - too tight for climbing?)

Or Oregons that have a couple of rips of the outer layer - Don't know if the inner layer has been damaged or if it's just superficial.

Either would save me a bundle.

Is it worth the risk or should I go for new ones to be safe?:confused1:

don't get them small mate, the crotch will rip and the fly will pop...unless you like plenty of fresh air whilst your working :001_smile:

And your really considering buying them... Your either really struggling for cash or mental.

I've got a pair of Stihl Hiflex up for grabs - size large - used but fair condition, no major rips etc. Free of charge, first to claim them gets them.

I'd be interested Billy, how big is large?

I'm 6'4" and 18st.

I normally have a 34/36 long.

im a 32" waist and small stretch airs are loose on me. wear them a bit higher than other pants and it stops me stretching the crotch when i stretch my legs so no rips. really comfy in them,a medium would be too big.
