Rope Wrench feedback

Recommended Posts

Stiff tether inspired by Rich but modded with the thimble inplace! Going to test it tomorrow see how she does!

New RW is tidy!!!

Right Dak, enough is enough:laugh1:.

you've got some rope through the thimble that disappears into plastic tube and then morphs into webbing strop for a snug fit on the karab. Also, how the hell is the thimble attached to the RW or does it float magically?? What gives???

I just want to know how to achieve the same. Thanks.

Ok so here it is, will be making a new one soon bit more refined... So will post pics then!

But until then, i stitched some 8mm op into a loop, i then put the 6mm ov into the thimble..

Then extracted the core from a few inches of each leg leaving the thimble, leaving the core on the thimble and about an inch after exiting the thimble!

I then buried the ov cover under the op cover.

Once buried i stitched them and shrink wrapped :)

Make sense?
