He can still claim on your insurance even if he trips over a twig on the floor, he does'nt have to be using ant tools at all, just working.

 

Well of cause, but which is likely to be worse?, a trip or cutting yourself with a chainsaw?

 

Also your premiums are based on the risk, well mine are, so if you are the only person using saws its cheaper.

 

I don't find myself wishing he used a saw, I cut he chips, stacks, etc, works well for us. He's happy, I'm happy, no problem :001_smile:

They were brought out to make it easier for left handed use, the handle goes right round the saw.

 

Last time I saw one over here was 15 years ago mind, the HSE got going about that time.

Yeah I bet the HSE wouldnt be too happy at all with one of those!

 

If you did get kickback using it left handed I would imagine it would be straight towards your face :scared1:

I think they are mainly fitted to saws used by the emergency services, I think it may be because they will need to use them in tight spots where they may have difficulty holding the normal handle.
