Cheers guys i will try some of the methods tomorrow and will definitely use copper ease next time.

 

Pays to clean the threads up then copper ease the thread & seat of the bolts,but dont spludge the grease down the female threads.

Loads of different ways to try. If you try heating to release don't cool it with water, let it cool naturally else you will harden the bolt making it impossible to drill if you have to. Good crack with hammer and chisel to get it moving normally does the trick though.

weld bolt to torx head .......as u turned the bolt, have some1 using hammer and chisel to knock torx head round at the same time

I bought a cordless impact gun from ebay just to change the blades on my 150. Wish i had done it sooner its so easy. I take em off with it and then tighten them up by hand. simples.

If you still struggle, kill the blade with a hammer and chisel then get the remains out once the blade is gone!

 

All the above advice is good, the best advise is to clean the holes out properly and use an impact driver to "shock" them loose. Don't forget to change your torx drive if it starts to wear out too.

One thing to remember if welding a nut on is to disconnect the battery so as to reduce the risk of damaging the alternator.

If I have had stubborn blade bolt then I tighten the others and then try the stuck one, if your have a small amount of bite still in the slot then try tapping the bolt at the same time as turning it.

Quickest way it to weld a m8 repair washer to it then a nut to that. Drilling then is hard work as the tensile strength is 10.9 so hard. When you put them back in small amounts of copper or better butter still engine oil. If my memory serves me right they should only be done up to 45ftlb. Ps teng tools are rubbish
