I've had Pros which were excellent but as someone has already said, a week or two of discomfort breaking them in. Meindl wauldlaufers or woodwalkers (same boot different language) are what I'm kicking about in for the last 8 months, just as comfortable, warm and waterproof as broken in Pros but I only wore them a day to get nice and comfy. Slightly lower cut round the calf I think and less expensive too??

I'm sticking with meindl and eyeing up airstreams when these give up the ghost :)

same here

Got the Meindl boots, not for me but partner who was really suffering with painful feet as boots so uncomfortable, and he is very very happy with them! so thanks for the recommendation:001_smile:

Ps. I make do with the cheaper Lavero, find them very comfortable and waterproof, even when working in kielder bogs this summer, the last pair shed an eyelet after a few months so I sent them back and got a new pair(free).
