it depends what price bracket your looking at. there is absolutely nothing wrong with mirkous. i love em. put as has been mentioned there are the berettas and perazzis, i have a mx8. the only problem with adjustable stocks is you can be forever tweaking em so best to get it set and throw the key away lol. most important thing is to get one that fits and will work reliably

Browning B525 Sporter is a good trap gun Mike, and is steel shot proofed.

 

You could find a brand spanker for about £1400, which would leave enough cash to get it fitted properly, which is more important than an adjustable comb IMO.

 

On second thoughts, you may need an adjustable comb to account for how long your beard is on any particular day....

few yrs ago i spent 12 grand on a kreeigoff gold scroll supersporter...lovely gun but couldnt get on with it.... sold that and had my miroku in the deal.... £800's worth and i shoot that lot better... came joint 6th at the classic this yr in A class and shoot high 80's early 90's at registered and local 100 bird sportin shoots.. couldnt do that with the kreeigoff... i think any miroku guns especially the older ones are best value for money you'l get...

I love mine, the russian crowbars so they are, the perfect rough day gun.
