Day rate for a groundie......

Just wondering what the going day rate is for a subbie groundie, with own kit/saws? I know being self employed has overheads etc but just looking for a ballpark figure.....

I pay £11 an hour (£100 a day for 9 hours).

Depends entirely on where you are, I pay 80.00 and a mileage allowance.

Barring one post on this thread I can see why this industry is in the state its in. Slavery was abolished many years ago. Based on the posts here I'd sell your saws and go and shelf stack at Tescos, your prospects are higher and at least you are warm and dry.
