We're having our lpg gas tank moved to a different location in the garden and I need 3 bollards to protect the tank from vehicles (don't ask).

Does any one know where I can get three cast iron bollards from ideally in the Suffolk/Essex border area but will buy online if someone recommends a good supplier. I've looked at a couple of websites and they only want to sell them in batches of ten.

Any help would be great.

Have you tried your local metalworking shop to see if they would fabricate some for you? We make these all the time for new build supermarkets and offices etc and depending on the spec they won't break the bank... Alternatively try googling street furniture as an on line supplier.

Thanks Rover, they are the sort of thing i'm after, anyone know where i can get any locally ?

Ask your builder's merchant, that one above is from "bollards-direct" wich I believe is Marshall's.

Some 8" pipe off cuts, rebar to suit and some concrete. All your left to to do after the trip to your scrappy is dig the holes and pour the concrete. If the pipe is visually unacceptable a grinder will soon strip it off. Did the same thing to give a pair of poles to end a stack of cord in the yard.
