Well it was very wet first thing, so rang my groundie and we decided we would have another day off, then it brightened up, so I rang him back several time but he did not answer I guess he had decided he wanted the day off

 

Any way me and the Mrs went to the cinema again, saw "Tower heist" first and then "Contagious", good day

 

Thats 3 films in 2 days.

Slashed it down so I cancelled today's job and went cycling instead.

 

I felt guilty for going cycling when I could have worked in it but the guilt soon wore off.....

Got soaked first thing then stayed soggy for the rest of the day. Did 3 drive with kale ranging from waist high to above head high. Not much fun for us but some good pictures have been taken of the beating line buried in the kale with just flags showing.

I think we have had it best today, tbh the past 2 weeks excluding weekends hasnt been bad at all.

I love fireworks Mick, if its organised and i am 1000m away watching from my bedroom window.

I agree with banning the sale of fireworks to the public and especially sparklers or welding rods as i call them .

 

My dogs have actually become used to them after 6 years in the town but in earlier years its been a nightmare with them, we even tried earmuffs once with the big dog lol
