One of my wheelie bins is rated to 89dba whilst the other is 99dba! Wow, I did not know that things in LA land were that anal!

What's yours rated to and what is it doing to get such a high rating?

Noticed that when i first got a wheelie bin in 1994 when they 1st came on the scene in Scotland.

Unreal if you ask me but take it they have to cover all the bases when it comes to health and safety.

I have 3 and they are all 97.

I've never seen any of the garbo's round here wearing ear defenders. Maybe you could put some draught excluder around the rim of the lid, the rubber P section stuff ot the cheap foam, and drizzle a little virgin olive oil on the axles.

My wheelie bin is not loud enough, nor does it perform as I think it should.

Does anyone know where I can buy a tuned/ported muffler?
