Nothofagus sp

.

Good guess but incorrect:biggrin:

I'll give you a hint on the big/small thing. It's more commonly found as a bonsai:biggrin:

Sent from my Galaxy S2

Ulmus parvifolia?

Got it in one:thumbup: although I think it's a cultivar of U. parvifolia

Mmmm i may have made a little booboo with this one:blushing:

After going over the photos again and speaking to different people, i am now 100% that this isn't Ulmus parvifolia and that it IS indeed Nothofagus antartica

So my apologies go out to all concerned who i befuddled with the wrong answer, and to David who got it right first:blushing::biggrin:

I shall endeavour to be correct next time:lol:

If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
