What tree did you get if off:lol:

 

 

no seriously, where those branches drooping/weeping?

 

what was the form of the tree?

 

are those needle deciduous?

 

how many needles are "grouped together" in there sheath or ontop the branch?

 

any better pics or info?

 

where ther any stomatal bands, if so, how many? 1, 2?

 

how long are those needles?

 

 

I have a few ideas but would rather give you a definite answer:biggrin:

Larix kaempferi needles can be 2-5cm long, I did think it was Sciadopitys verticillata but needles aren't long enough and don't quite match

 

Could be a young Pinus pinea but i doubt it?

 

What was the bark like?
