I sit completely on the fence. And have no views on people until I have met and known them for some time. But I will say that houses cost a fortune now and mortgages hard to come by. Jobs are getting scarce and social houses are few and far between. What are working class people going to do in the future. I know society needs rules to live by but they seem to be made up by a small upper class part of society for there own ends. Should people have to live by OUR rules. Especially the one that says I have to pay £170 a month rates:sneaky2:

Well said  personally I think the working class should be all made to live in back-to-back terraced houses :001_rolleyes:

Thompson,

No I did nothing, I still feel bad about that too, but what could I do?, they were in the process of leaving, there was no security to be seen and they would quite happily have kicked my head in if I had intervened or even spoken up ( I can only surmise)

btw many years ago in France we camped on a Municipal site beside proper "travellers" a very tidy Fendt caravan, with a stupendous towed kitchen trailer, and immaculate new Transit Van.

The men folk were off very early in the morning, and the women folk were rarely seen, they were to all appearances decent people, despite their travelling lifestyle.

On the other had we came through the village that hosts the Puck Fair, Killorglan? village perhaps, anyway the day after, a complete disaster area, knee deep in litter & trash, though I do understand that some toursits also visit this renowned Gypsy dominated event.

I wasn't having a go, don't get me wrong. It just appalls me that they get away with it!
