Some nice motors there. Anybody else have an old astra gte 2ltr 16 valve? Was like kit from knight rider with the digi dash

 

My mate had one in Black and it was very quick but not as quick as the Mrk 1 we raced to a nightclub one night, both cars 5 up the Mrk1 lost us.

Those Astra GTE's were wicked; famously quicker than the Golf Gti 8v and 16v:biggrin:

Always wanted one since late teens, when a mate had one. We would go to Woolacombe on bank holidays (lived in Bridgwater, Somerset then).

 

Got the chance of a resto project that had been off the road for about 20 years, took me a couple of years to get it back on the road, but definitely worth it.
