If you put your name, address and everything most people would suss it but there are some very numpty members of the public out there

 

If they can walk under barrier tape over brash and past a chipper running at full tilt with a kid in a pram, they can mistake you for a cowboy.

 

I get loads off the sign writing, loads off neighbours coming round whilst I'm doing jobs, loads off the sign at the end of the drive and loads off recommendations.

 

The only ad is in Thompsons local and I'm stressed out with the workload

you really do have to go with what works for you.

 

things happen differently in different areas

 

y.pages and google adwords works for me but thompsons doesn't.

 

at the end of the day hard work always pays off

It might be worth spending that money on different advertising. If an advert is not delivering results, get rid. It won`t change.

 

I finally got round to monitoring every single call, for 3 months at the start of last year. Tompson Local and the BT directory got dropped at the first opportunity.

 

Good flyers work, but it has less to do with print quality and more to do with content.

i get 5000 a5 flyers for £40,basic white paper with the choice of about 5 colours for text.
