start to cut hinge at ground level, take a bore to ascertain solid wood

if poss cut hinge then bore in for backcut , if hollow get plenty of wedges every 12 inches just knocked in firm but not hard enough to lift it, everyone clear then pull over with winch.

If its a college job Check the bat/bird box first. That will be huge failure points, if inhabited leave all alone as natural habitat. Thats the correct technical answer from the theory world.

as one of the students whos been asked to sort out this mess, we tried straight winching it but that just pulled limbs off, ambitions i know so i will be keeping an eye on this thread

 

Think i'm going to have to bager the boss to get some of that safe t cut explosive...you guys up to the challenge....or we could rig something from engineering and use their oxy bottles:thumbup:
