you do get the same arisings from shredding blades so care is always needed . i found the brodgio head to be a little heavy for my fs560 but quite effective in scrub, use stihl shredding and oregon mulching blades now.

we had a couple of the brogio heads at work and in right place they were amazing on the fs480. Had a couple of links break off and never done any damage. Did make a habit of wearing saw boots with them just in case.

anyone able to compare these to the metal mulching blades. I'm sure they do a similar job and much safer IMO

 

Mulching blade is better. I wasn't aware of them when I purchased the Brogio heads, we're going back some six or seven years here!

 

The gyroscopic force that the Brogio generated was intense, and I never felt safe using it. It was an odd sensation bashing it against solid objects, and they took a lot longer to spin up again afterwards than a blade does.
