jokes aside.

 

Yeah its good to have a groundie that knows what you need before you do...but thats not always the case. i often have guys who come help out and are not used to the way we work. when it tap my helmet for ' heads up ' they just look at my funny.

 

I think there should be a hand signal at work training given at all colleges as most of the newbies will be working on ground when they start work. we can all get buy tying tools on with granny knot as we can get by with basic hand signals..but would it not be better to use a sheet bend and have hand signals that are universal? if you catch my drift.
