knapsack sprayers

Hi all,

 

looking to buy a load of knapsack sprayers, and looking for some feedback, ideally want something lightweight for carrying long distances doing spot spraying of invasive weeds so tank capacity isnt that important, balance and comfort are important. Looking to get 5 units so dont want to get something thats uncomfortable. Anyone use the solo range?

I've got a cp15 and a cp3 both from cooper pegler , I find them both comfortable to use , hope this is useful .

Berthoud are extremely comfortable and similar price to CP. I hugely recommend one

Ive used solos and didnt get on with them. Poor fitting fillers and leaky triggers to name a few issues. I moved over to cooper peglers series 2000 CP15. A joy to use, feels much more robust. Well recommended.

Seconded, they also make for hypro I think.

 

Very comfy, good pump design.

 

We have a 'chapin' at work and a CP and the Berthoud is preferable, can't speak for solo.

Iv'e used solo for a number of years now. I found them more comfortable than cp. However, there was the odd drip hear and there. I still prefer them to cp. Never used any other makes apart from solo and cp

We use two Hardi BP15.We did have a Cooper Pegler CP15 but we noticed the pressure valves released as soon as we had pressure.

hardi is what i use but we do have a solo too in the farm yard

Berthound - Little bit more expensive but SO much better in every way! The do look a bit 'plastic-ey' but mine have lasted well with no problems over last couple of years.

Nail on the head Frankie, we've got 3 Berthroud spayers and i will not be buying anything else when they are nackered. Solidly made, comfortable and the little pouches on the webbing straps are useful for putting spare nozzles in.
