Ditto, in to much of a hurry. the bit i did like this week was the timber mill cutting the 4x2 wow so fast.A lady last week gave me two framed pictures of tree fallers in orogen black and white and felling with two man saw cool.

cant make an 'X-treme' show with endless weeks of actual logging and yarding, gotta filter through all the actual work and just show the dangerous, stupid and generally dramatic bits....

 

 

most of the companies involved in the show have spoken out about how they were portrayed in the series, and feel dissapointed at their treatment.

Agree with some of the other comments about it being overdramatised rubbish.

 

They work unsafely and as with everything else that seems to go on in America it's always portrayed as a massive adrenalin rush.

 

They can't be real wood cutters as they all seem to hav etheir own teeth !

I think I will agree in part at least.

 

One thing, it's filmed, so they will select more "dramatic" stuff.

 

If you read my post about the redwood Screaming Titans, you may note where I said author Preston really stretched the story. Seems that this goes for some writing and some television.

 

I considered this exaggeration thing, but dismissed it in regards to the show and safety, because no matter how we look at it, there is a lot of stuff that was questionable and not questionable.

 

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time, lack of the right safety gear at the right time, etc..
