Tis quite possible that in pulling around to look over that I have dislodged something in that area and not noticed before reassembly

Just struggling to think what else it could be

It could just be the throttle linkage disturbed if you've had the handle off, check it over to put your mind at rest.

Started to rebuild the 361 today after i went against my better judgement and bought a crank off the chinese seller on the bay. Now i wish i had not bothered, It looked good, measured up dimensionally on the bearing diameters to the original although the conrod was a bad quality casting. Anyway i fitted it, put on the piston and cylinder and rotated it by hand and it jammed up and wouldnt budge. I pulled the cylinder and the piston is jammed on the counter weights at bottom dead center. Turns out they are 2mm oversize and the completely useless.

Rebuilt the 260 today. Cleaned the bore and it came up nice. Now pulling 170psi.

Just need to figure out why the clutch is engaging the drum on tick over. New springs didn't change it. Cleaned up the drum and it is better, but will find out when I fire it up and see if it engages.

Well that's it. Workshop is now closed for any new non booked tools to come in.

Time to clear the ones I do have in a over the Xmas week, then reopen the doors on the 3rd.

Do have a 200t that will be coming in, but that's it. So I can work as and when I like rather then trying to get things done.

Everyone knows I've closed the doors today and those that have machines in also know that the chances of getting them back before new year are slim. So a nice long relaxing Xmas.

And after this year I need it.

Happy Xmas arb talk.

Santa really needs to bring you more hours in the day and more days in the week. But maybe less saws before Christmas. Still it work and work is money. Have a good Yule and year alike.
