HELP

i have a husqvarna strimmer, the exhaust has fallen off, due to bolts working lose, tried tighting, but they just spin!

Help what can i do?

glue the bolt back in to hold?

A number of options: -

1) retap to the next size up ie - M4 to M5 or M5 to M6

2) Helicoil the hole

3) Fit an insert - this will be limited to the land around the hole

The helicoil is probably the best option - I usually add a little stud lock around the helicoil to ensure it really holds damn well:thumbup:

echo strimmer parts - helpanti vibe mounts all broke when machine dropped - rubber separated from metal - anybody ever stuck rubber to metal like that (jb weld??) on av mounts - they also hold the shaft and clutch to the body of the strimmer.

the part number on echo SRM-302BDX is Echo 61090504930 as far as i can see.

any body recommend an echo dealer / parts store?

thanks folks

JB weld won't hold rubber to steel, cyanoacrylate (Superglue) may but it doesn't always last!

Crank seals Adam.

Three mower blades sharpened and one ms200t sorted, just awaiting a chain break handle. And a bearing for a greenmech cm220 to fit but unsure if it correct. Awaiting reply.

No show on the baby front yet so getting some workshop time.

Here we go again, just brought this from my neighbour for £50.00 I wanted to give him £40 but I lost the toss, it's a non starter.

So at the moment it's on the freezer till I make space on the bench, can't say no to a old tool.

My missis says I'm the old tool for buying all this sh**!

Oh it's a 051AV

Any tips before I open it up:biggrin:
