Whats on the bench........another MS200T refurb:001_rolleyes::lol:

 

It runs reasoinably OK, looks like it has been running a tad rich for some time and the thing won't stop without using the choke....more on that later!

 

Havnt had an ms200t in for a while. Enjoying the break:lol::lol::thumbup:

It's only to the naked eye, but it doesn't look bent at all. Only a thorough check will tell, I suppose. :001_smile:

 

What I do is fit a new piston without the rings, place the clam to the cylinder/crankcase and see if the engine can be spun round freely with minimal resistance and the clam/cylinder not forcing the joint open and closed - if it is not easy to turn over (without the plug in) ands the lower clam keeps trying to open and close then the rod is likely to be bent - it works better with conventional style engine where there is no need to bolt the cylinder down but does at least give you a bit of confidence in the rod.
