I was hoping to get Sunday off, but as usual something comes along to ruin the plan. My main mechanic has been off for the last two days to look after her sick kids (well, they are kids that are ill, rather than simply 'sick kids') so I have to find an extra two days before wednesday to get that little lot serviced in time for the van delivery.

Looks like you will be busy for a fair while withy that lot. One of my fellas dropped off a 880, a 660 and an MS200 and said "I'm off to the Maldives for a couple of weeks, any chance of fixing that lot for when I return?":001_rolleyes:

jus a pic of the ms150 exhaust mod i did yesterday

removed the exhaust and used the dremel for the cuts and a screwdriver to open the louvres

I have sold very many over the last 14 years, and have very many satisfied users, so can't be too bad.

 

I am very fussy about what I sell and sell JD alongside Kaaz as my premium brands. They are pretty well matched in quality and price, but JD have a bigger range to offer. As with any brand, there are one or two models best avoided, but most are excellent.

 

And they are without doubt the best at collecting long or damp grass.

I have plenty of small, 'man in a van' contractors using them and they are as good, if not better than anything except the Kaaz.

 

If I am honest I have only sold the standard R range, and they are very good, but there is also a PRO range which is even better and is really what contractors should use, but most will not pay the extra.

It has made a difference but exactly how much is unknown yet. I'm going to be using it this afternoon so I will respond later

I will say that the exhaust note is louder and more mellow and pickup seems faster.

I will admit that I didn't make any comparisons before and after the work was completed
