I have noticed recently that my helmet is becoming rather pongy (pooooeeeeh!).

Does anyone have any good tips on how to combat the most unpleasant affliction that is a cheesy helmet?

Basic hygiene mate, make sure the sweatband area is cleaned regularly, and wash out/change the ear defenders. If not you will get rashes and/or skin complaints. As above, fairy liquid or bio soap powder will do the job well.

not sure what helmet you have but you can get new headbands for vertex and most of the others and there only about £2
