Theft!!

Hi Guys

All my gear was stolen from a lockup in Whitchurch, Shrops on Friday.

It included 3.5Tonne Ifor Williams tipper trailer with sides. All Husky saws: 576XP, 346XP, T425, 125BV blower, 325HD hedge cutters. Also Williams harness and ropes. Also Borch SDS Hammer Driver and yellow Belle cement mixer. As you can imagine I'm absolutely gutted. If anyone is offered any gear specially round Shrewsbury Shopshire pls call me. They are professional and went thru many locks in broad daylight !! Tel N0 0036 30 563 5099. Please make sure yr gear is secure guys and I mean Secure. Regards Jed

jed001, Hope you recover your stolen items. Might I suggest looking at my thread means and methods of protecting your kit from theft. It may be of additional help in the future.

Are you really going to reply to every single theft thread with that reply Ted?

I know you're trying to help, it just seems quite annoying to me to rub salt in the wound. Yes it can be helpfull, but only as prevention and for that it is too late.

I believe the need to refresh members memories is important. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. There are many that are not aware of the thread so I believe there is a need to continue to make members aware of how they can protect their kit.

Rubbing salt in the wound is not my intention. Keeping people informed and working pro actively is my main goal. Some folks take longer to learn than others, the thieves are counting on being complacent and are very keen about monitoring coming's and goings.

ELG the problem is we all know what is happening over here theft off machinery/tools is big big bussiness and there isnt much preventioin that scum wont get through. Every firm in the country has ways and means of protecting kit. Im sure things are different over there and it must be hard to understand this as yuour only reading it.
