got back from holiday yesterday afternoon, so today i thought id have a lazy day trying to sort out a seperate tool compartment on my truck. seems to have worked out well all it needs now is some final touches like a chain to hold the truck side board up level so i can fix a little vice on there for sharpening and some paint etc. see how long it lasts i guess :001_rolleyes:

you can bolt a chain to the tailgate and then drill a hole in the tipper floor and lower the tipper onto the chain to lock it that way would be the safest option. plus then you can use the same chain to hold the tailboard level so you could attach a vice to it for sharpening.

very nice, you not put one on the other side?

 

i like to fill my back up to much to use to much room for tools :blushing: i have got a under body ally tool box to go the other side under the tipper though :thumbup1:

well it works very well and save the chore of haveing to unload and load up everytime you get to a job, makes things go alot smoother, everything has its place. so why not copy :thumbup1:
