slash there tyres job done

Yea and crap in a bag set it on fire on their doorstep, ring the bell and run away. That should give them some aromatherapy to think about lol.

Seriously though do it by the book get a lawyer involved and get your cash plus expenses and you dont need to worry about it. Non payers need a boot where the sun dont shine and lawyers are good at it legally.

Always stay professional, never threaten them with dumping crap on their drive or other revengeful actions. I think I would let this one go but you have learnt a lasting lesson. Make sure you write down what is agreed in a duplicate book, this could be the start of your invoice, write the price on and give them a copy. When you have done the job make sure they inspect it with you before you leave and on your copy of the agreement have something written like 'work complete to customers satisfaction', get the customer to sign against it, you now have what you need to get paid.

Remember, Every day is a school day.

s.mouse, might I suggest in the future when it comes to payment for services rendered if the customer get's a bit silly make this statement very clear: " I have an arrangement with my bank I don't extend credit for services rendered and in return the bank does not do tree work or any other type of work" End of subject. Otherwise get all of the rest of your ducks in a row and file the paper work for small claims court. Good hunting.

easy-lift guy.
