Tip site directory

Just wondered if this was a good idea or not, has it been done already and im just being stupid, things of that nature.

My idea is having where they are, how much they cost, phone number opening times, just genral stuff really.

Obviously it would need to be a team effort, people putting in info that they have of the tip sites they use.

 

What do you guys think?

I was only thinking that the other day, for this site. Go on Steve do it!

 

Perhaps a map with the sites on it would be best, maybe a layer on google maps?

 

Then you could find your location then find the nearest site with contact details?

Yeah that map thing sounds like a good idea, dont know how hard that would be to do tho.

I could probably sort it out easy enough.....what i dont have time to do though is compile the information...so if everyone could just post up details of their local tipsites in this thread we could compile it over time, then put it into an easily searchable format once we had enough.

I think it needs to be registered tip sites...not just local farmers etc that may or may not take a load of chip
