How many people on here work solely on their own.How do you find the life work balance?

Im one but subbie in help when I need it,,which is often, actually at least three days a week,,,!most of my guys work for two or three tree teams,,so we job share depending on who`s busiest,,,if I knew now, 15yrs ago that would be my line of thought,,,,:001_huh:

I get subbies in when needed but 75% is me. My work and life balance is good I think. I spend 6 days a week doing something work related at the moment, be it cutting, maintenance, quoting or whatever. I don't not enjoy it, but it is nice to have time to chill out, take the canoe or the dogs out and know I don't have to be doing something in two hours or whatever.

Work hard, sail fast and live slow.

When you say work on their own, do you mean as sole traders or actually work on-site on their own? :001_smile:

A bit of both really.

My own situation is mostly arb work in the winter , summertime grass cutting, fencing, general gardening work. With a self employed lad working with me a lot of the time:sneaky2:

But trying to work out whether it would be better to drop some of my workload and just get in help as and when it is needed. A lot less paperwork, moaning and i can work what hour's i want?

Obviously for any treework i would need a groundy in some shape or form!
