i noticed you said you go to myerscough paul, how often do you attend?

 

Once a week Rob - it was on Thursdays last year but will be on Tuesdays from September. Are you also studying there? Will have to meet you for a coffee if so!

i do all my study online but occasionally go in for the odd extra seminar or chat

Wow, fair play. I don't think I have the discipline to work alone from home!

 

I am just about to start the second year of the MSc (don't laugh!).

It's been good. As you know, the course is called Arboriculture and Urban Forestry - to be honest they could almost drop the arboriculture part of the name as it is very much focussed on the strategic management of tree populations rather than looking at the details of tree health and condition etc.

 

Last year was alot of planning policy, aspects of urban greening and historical context of trees in the landscape. I really enjoyed it but it's not for everyone.

Going back a few posts, yes, that was a very good talk. I can't believe an hour went so quickly.

 

I generally prefer actually physically attendind a lecture as I like the interaction. That, however, was a close second :thumbup:

 

Does anyone know if there are more in the pipeline?

I asked this question when I emailed for the notes. Did they say when we would get the notes if we emailed for them? I also asked if they can email a person for upcoming events, I am across the pond so I would only attend webinars but I found this to be interesting.
