Following on from the "large" Magnolia thread; came across this today and wondered what the biggest Cherry was that you had come across. I wiped one of the photos of this unfortunately which gave a better scale.

Biggest cherry ive ever seen was one I recorded for the ATF, it was mahoosive with at least a 14' girth, i'll dig the pics out later:biggrin:

That's got to be worth seeing.

Hoping to get a few pictures of when it is in full bloom. From a distance I thought it was an Oak due to the sheer size of the thing. It's closing in on 50 to 60 feet tall. The biggest Rhodo? I topped one out a few years ao that was 25 to 30 feet high and had a spread of over 70 feet.
