body thrusting with vt?

Yep - I have tried this and it works a treat. The way I was shown is to tie a marlin spike hitch in the working end of the rope and then clip the VT and pulley in to that with a spare biner, thereby extending it all away from your body so you can pull hand over hand behind the hitch and up you go!

 

 

Anybody tried doing this with a pantin? Would it work I wonder?

 

I may give it a go manyana.

yes pantin works great with vt becouse your foot is tending the slack....i think i need around 25ft of rope with a straight drop and no hang ups before my rope will self tend but thats with xtc and roblon cord with a petzl pulley wanna try fly next with roblon and see if that makes a differance
