i use a 24" bar on my 441 and it copes fine, you can't bear right down on it through big hard wood but it certainly doesn't hang about or cause inconvenience either. If your cutting 20-30"+ all the time i'd get something bigger, but if your just doing the occasional job up to the that size the 441 should pull the 24" well enough.

I've got a 25" on an old 440 and find the same, it cuts fine just have to take your time a little!

The saw in the photo is my mates old dolmar with a 4' bar! Amazing saw! Unfortunately I can't afford a 660. Am looking to get a husky 346 or still 261 so a 660 is out of the question unless I can get a good old 064 or 066!!

muff mod the saw and retune the carb,then it should be no problem

I run my 046 with 8T/20"+7T/24" with no problem in hardwood

Have it ported and you can run with a 28" bar with no problen

dont use money on another big saw
