This won't break any records, but is a fair old size for a Sessile Oak

First years flush at the top of the canopy after we had fracture pruned the entire tree.

leaf miners and interveinal chlorosis? its acid on the heath isnt it? was this growing in a chalk pocket per chance?

 

or is it just late in the year and the leaf is withdrawing?

Heath is sand Tony, no chalk.
