I tried a 550 for the first time the other day and reckoned that it is deffo the more flickable saw but didn't come up any lighter than the dolly and most certainly didn't outgun it in the cutting stakes. Sorry :laugh1:

note to the world: ignore the specs on paper!

 

Doesn't the 550 feel very 242ish when snedding?

 

I'd really like to see a vid of the little dolmar - if they are getting that sort of torque out of a small conventional (non AT) engine then I'm intrigued :thumbup1:

 

What I like about the 550 is that it flies along snedding but rips through the back cut for such a small saw - almost like the lovechild of a 242 and 357- something the 346 IMO didn't do :biggrin:
