I'd imagine Paul is after a wide range of failure shots form lots of different scenarios.

These are great, thanks guys.

 

I am looking for a photo or two to use on some marketing material - obviously subject to the owner's permission and negotiations.

 

I hope you don't mind me asking on here - library pictures of failed trees are hard to come by! It's not a competition but I will obviously PM the owner of a photograph I would like to use. Keep 'em coming!

 

(Besides, even if nothing works out I think it's a worthwhile picture thread for reference).

Not much damage involved in this one. Pity you didn't ask a couple of months ago as gale ripped through Taupo knocking down whole blocks of trees. One place, for about 2kms, nearly every tree on the side of the road had gone over at the root.

I only have this little offering to make but its better than nowt i suppose, there wasnt much damage except to another tree if fell on top of and it just missed a sky dish that you cant see on the other side.
