The 352 is an ok machine.

With the outer wheels off it is 35 inches wide, so you can get it through most gates.

It is difficult to see the grinding head if you stand where you are supposed to, so you end up using it like the guy in the vid, with your left hand on both levers, at arms length. Gives me neckache tbh.

I understand remote is a option, but on a grinder you need to be close to the machine to "feel" the machine struggle or not. anyone use a remote?

I have to admit that after a days worth of grinding with my sidewinder I tend to down a few litres of Breton Ale to dull my aching bones.

Its the wrong machine for all day use but the right one for a small outfit and a good one for a mornings worth of private clients.

I got days of plantation grinding ahead to look forward too 'n' all!

What do the big grinders cost new?

With a remote you can stand as close to the machine as necessary, but you don't have to twist round to see what you are doing.

Some machines have a fold out arm with the controls on so you can stand in the right place, and a perspex screen to protect the operator.

Personally, I would rather have the remote.
